Samsung takes down Xiaomi, sets a new Guinness record with Galaxy S22 Ultra – LLODO

Samsung claims the Galaxy S22 Ultra helped them set a Guinness World Record. Accordingly, Samsung is currently the record holder for the title “Most people unboxing at the same time” with the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Samsung brought down Xiaomi, setting a new record for the Galaxy S22 Ultra - Photo 1.

It may sound strange, but this record is pre-existing and the company that holds the previous title is Xiaomi. In 2019, the company set a record with 703 people opening the box at the same time.

Last week, Samsung India set a new record through the #EpicUnboxing event held on March 5. Samsung’s number is almost triple Xiaomi’s record with 1820 simultaneous unboxing over 17 city.

The #EpicUnboxing event is celebrated with a select number of Galaxy S22 Ultra pre-order customers getting early delivery, to 1820 people. The simultaneous unboxing event took place at 19 locations in 17 cities across India.
