The NER800 has a matte black top cover that looks good, easy to stick to fingerprints and sweat, but wipe it with a damp cloth.
Eureka NER800 rounded shape with dual brush and “hump” on the back, looks no different from other robot vacuums. The top of the machine is covered with a very good anti-scratch texture, easy to stick to dust but also easy to clean. In general, the appearance of the NER800 is not very outstanding.

The water container is quite small, but in return the machine has a large dust box, which takes a few days to a week to take it out and dump it.
Suction fast, wipe strong and vibrate
Compensating for the unimpressive appearance is the powerful suction capacity of up to 4000Pa. This number is not the largest, but more than enough for normal suction needs, from hard floors, wooden floors, petrified floors to thick carpets all “weigh” well. The machine also has 2 brushes on both sides, so the ability to collect garbage is also very good, quickly cleaning the crevices along the wall, the legs of tables and chairs without running back and forth many times.

Thanks to the vibration mopping, the cleaning ability of the NER800 is significantly better than just dragging a wet rag. Stains such as colored water, spilled food are treated better and are clearly seen, saving the effort of wiping by hand. In particular, the water tank of the vibrating mop can always kill bacteria, according to the advertisement, up to 99.9%, so it will limit mold and odor effectively even if it is not washed for a long time.
The small lamp in the water tank is the electrolytic bactericidal part. You can turn it on and off in the app on your phone.
Quick map scan, still can get stuck
The NER800 uses a LiDAR sensor located on its back, continuously scanning information so it creates a very fast and accurate room map. It only takes a few minutes to run around, the machine completes the map, saves the correct position of the wall and large objects such as doors, wardrobes, tables and chairs… However, because it is only combined with the infrared sensor system in the front, so the machine avoids small objects is not very good, often has to crash to avoid and then remember that there are obstacles, then don’t crash anymore.
The map scanner is very fast, but it still takes time to recognize small objects.
However, because it is always crashing, the machine can dig up dust and garbage in the corners more carefully, so the cleaning ability is still better than the new types a few centimeters away.
Also pay attention, because the small object recognition machine is not very good, so if you use it, you need to clean up small items such as children’s toys, wires, shoes otherwise the machine will roll over or knock over, even If you’re stuck there, you can’t move anymore.

Other robot vacuum cleaner manufacturers often focus on developing the application so that it has to be both beautiful and functional. The Eureka line is not like that. The application to control it looks very simple, not fussy, when you open it, you can see the control buttons right away.
