Now, the company has been spotted testing (via @theonecid) the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update on the US versions of the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The Android 14-based firmware for the Galaxy S22+ that was spotted on Samsung’s servers carries firmware version S908USQU2DWF1. The Android 14-based One UI 6.0 firmware for the US version of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with firmware version F936USQU3DWF8.

These firmware files have been spotted on Samsung’s servers, which means that the company might be testing them behind closed doors. It is expected that Samsung will start rolling out the One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy S23 series first. It could be released in China, India, Europe, South Korea, and the US. Later, the company could expand the One UI 6.0 Beta Program to more high-end and premium mid-range phones, including the Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Since it is a major update, we can expect Samsung to bring dozens of new features. The new software could also bring improved performance and enhanced fluidity of animations and transitions. One UI 6.0 could also bring improved privacy and security features. Some rumors claim that Samsung will increase the size of quick setting toggles with One UI 6.0.
