At the MWC 2022 exhibition being held in Barcelona, Samsung introduced 3 new laptops of the Galaxy Book series, including Galaxy Book2 360, Book2 Pro and Book2 Pro 360. The advantage of the new series comes from quality AMOLED screens. high performance, 12th generation Intel chipset as well as a slim and lightweight design.
Galaxy Book2 Pro and Book2 Pro 360
This laptop duo is introduced with 2 screen size options, 13.3 inches and 15.6 inches. The main difference between these two versions comes from the Pro 360 version which has a flexible hinge that can be folded and opened 360 degrees allowing the device to become a tablet. All versions have the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio screen.
Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 13.3-inch version weighs only 1.04kg, while the 15.6-inch version weighs 1.41kg. Both have Full HD AMOLED screens, with a maximum display brightness of 500 nits. The 360 version supports the S Pen, but omits the Bluetooth feature on the S Pen. In addition, the S Pen of Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 has also been upgraded with lower latency.
With the standard Pro version, the 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch options are lighter, respectively 0.87kg and 1.17kg. The screen of this version is also an AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution, the ratio of 16: 9 is no different from the 360 version.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 duo both come with 12th generation Intel Core i5/i7 chips that meet Intel EVO standards, integrated Intel Iris XE GPU, optional RAM of 8GB/16GB or 32GB and optional SSD storage up to 1TB NVMe. The battery of the 2 versions 13.3 inch and 15.6 inch is 63Wh and 68Wh respectively, with 65W fast charging.
In terms of ports, the 13.3-inch version will have a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB-C port, a full-size USB 3.2 port, a 3.5mm jack and a microSD card slot. Meanwhile, the 15.6-inch version has an additional HDMI port, a 5G sim slot.
Galaxy Book2 360
Galaxy Book2 360 has only 13.3-inch screen size option, also using AMOLED panels with Full HD resolution. This machine is equipped with 12th generation Intel Core i5/i7 chip with EVO standard, Iris XE GPU, supports Wifi 6E and does not have 5G.
The device has 8GB/16GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB SSD storage options. This version also supports the S Pen, which weighs 1.19kg.
Price
The starting price of Galaxy Book2 360, Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 will be 899 USD, 1049 USD and 1249 USD respectively, equivalent to 20.5 million VND, 23.9 million VND and 28.5 million VND respectively. This is the price for the Core i5 option with the lowest memory.
