Honor recently brought to the MWC 2022 exhibition the Magic4 and Magic4 Pro duo. These are two smartphones of the high-end segment of the Honor brand, featuring beautiful design, powerful performance with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, high-quality camera as well as support for 100W fast charging.
The Pro version is equipped with a 6.81-inch 4-sided curved screen, using LTPO OLED panels, 1224 x 2664 resolution, 120Hz adaptive scanning frequency. This screen uses a “pill” design with a 12MP selfie camera with a 3D depth sensor. The standard version also has a similar size screen, the refresh rate and resolution are the same, but only a curved screen on the sides. In addition, the standard version also cuts down on the depth sensor, retaining the single selfie camera.
As announced by Honor, the screen on the Magic4 series has a brightness of 1000 nits and has a pulse frequency of light (PWM – Pulse-width modulation) up to 1920Hz, much higher than the 480Hz level of the iPhone 13 Pro. To better understand PWM, readers can refer to this article.
Honor Magic4 series is equipped with a quality camera system on the back, housed in a rather large circular module. The main camera has a resolution of 50MP with a 1/1.56-inch thwosc sensor, 2μm pixel size. The ultra-wide-angle camera also has a resolution of 50MP on both devices. In addition, the Pro version has an additional 64MP 3.5X periscope telephoto camera, which supports up to 100X mixed zoom, while the standard version has an 8MP periscope telephoto camera but has a 5X optical zoom factor and 50X mixed zoom. .
In terms of performance, both versions are equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, optional RAM up to 12GB and storage memory up to 512GB. The battery of the device has a capacity of 4800mAh and 4600mAh, supporting 66W and 100W fast charging for the standard and standard and Pro versions respectively.
Another difference between these two machines comes from dust and water resistance: the Pro version has IP68 and the standard version is IP54.
In terms of price, Honor Magic4 and Magic4 Pro have a starting price of 899 EUR and 1099 EUR respectively, equivalent to 22.9 million VND and 28 million VND for the 8GB/256GB version.
