OPPO recently introduced a new A series smartphone called OPPO A96 5G. This is the successor to OPPO A95 5G, belongs to the mid-range segment, has a reasonable price, stands out with the advantage of the design with square frames like the iPhone and Reno7, and is also equipped with a Snapdragon chip. The new 695 5G was introduced by Qualcomm not long ago.
OPPO A96 is OPPO’s next smartphone line with a square frame design like the iPhone. The device has quite a few youthful color options such as black, pink and an aurora color.
OPPO equips the A96 with a dual camera system with a 48MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth camera, without an ultra-wide-angle camera.
On the front, OPPO A96 5G is equipped with a 6.43-inch screen, using an OLED panel with Full HD + resolution and a basic 60Hz refresh rate. This screen has a “mole” design with a 16MP selfie camera located in the left corner, integrated with an optical fingerprint sensor.
In terms of performance, as mentioned, OPPO A96 5G is equipped with Snapdragon 695 5G processor. This is a mid-range processor from Qualcomm that stands out with the ability to support 5G networks. This chipset for performance can be on par with Snapdragon 765G or Dimensity 800U. The machine has a single memory option of 8GB/256GB, which can be expanded to 13GB of RAM thanks to virtual RAM technology. The battery has a capacity of 4500mAh, supports 33W fast charging.
In terms of price, OPPO A96 5G has a list price of 1999 yuan, equivalent to about 7.1 million VND in the Chinese market. The product does not have an official global launch date.
