BALLSTON SPA — The village’s Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee will meet twice in January to identify and discuss the effects of climate change and information technology advancements as it relates to the village’s future economic development.
The public meetings will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 6 and Jan. 20, at the Saratoga County Office Building at 50 West High St.
At the Jan. 6 meeting, Dr. Bruce Piasecki, founder and president of AHC Group Inc., a consulting firm specializing in growth, energy, environment and sustainability, will lead the discussion on how to address upcoming trends in climate and IT.
The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee works with a professional planning consultant to identify and study several topics over the course of the next year in order to create a final plan that will eventually be considered by village trustees.
