Hello friends. As an online shopaholic, I always try to choose the cheapest products possible to save costs. I ordered a clothes dryer on the e-commerce platform with the advertisement “Japanese technology” and now would like to share with you my experience.
Why do I choose a clothes dryer?
In the North, there is probably no house that does not have a clothes dryer because of the weather or many houses have little free space for drying. My house has a balcony – although it is not too spacious, it is airy and bright all year round. If it’s not rainy, windy, humid days, just hang the clothes from the night before to the next afternoon, and the clothes will be dry and fragrant with the sun and wind; Even in the summer, it only takes a few hours to dry.
My house likes to use top load washing machines
Besides, we like to use top-loading washing machines (standing cages), so the clothes dryer model placed on the washing machine, or the washing machine with the drying function is not suitable.
Therefore, I think that for those of you who have similar living conditions as us, a clothes dryer is the most reasonable choice because:
– Short use time in a year (only 1-3 months);
– When not in use, it can be disassembled, stowed and stored away;
– Cheap.
Order
Walking around websites selling home appliances and e-commerce platforms, I see many models of cabinets with prices ranging from a few hundred thousand (mechanical type) to 1-2 million dong (with remote control). After much deliberation, I decided to buy a clothes dryer that is almost the most “bad” for 449K, plus shipping fees and discount codes, the final price is 452K.
At the time of this writing, the product has increased in price to 580K but is also out of stock.
Receive goods and bond
This order was placed at 16:46 pm the previous day and by early afternoon the next day was successfully delivered. I consider that to be quite fast with an order delivered in the same city.
The package is a rather tattered carton box, the outside is printed with the product picture and specifications in Chinese. Even though I don’t know Chinese, I can guess some ideas like this:
– Power source 220V~50Hz;
– Maximum power consumption: 1000W;
– Maximum drying weight/time: 15 kg;
– Timer off: 0-180 minutes;
– Weight: 2.9 -3.2 kg
Open the box and install
Inside the box we will have 1 canvas cover, 12 round iron bars and 6 plastic bars used to build the cabinet frame, 1 instruction sheet and finally a heat generator (heater).
The installation is very simple, my 2 4-year-old children struggled for a while to finish the installation (with the help of parents, of course). This frame is really light so kids can carry it around the house to play.
However, advertising that you can hang up to 15 kg of clothes is respectable! After installing the canvas, it looks like this. My kid is 1m tall, this cabinet must be about 1.3-1.4m.
The heating element is located at the bottom so that the air outlet is centered on the hole in the bottom of the canvas.

I eagerly pulled clothes from the drying line on the balcony and brought them into the house, then hung each shirt and pants on a clothes hanger to dry in the new closet. But I would have guessed that turning the knob for a while still didn’t make any difference.

Called the husband to check, he struggled for a while and said that the heater was broken, because the outside felt hot to the touch but the fan did not turn.
