OPPO today officially sold the OPPO Reno7 New Year Edition, a special version of the Reno7 series with a red design to celebrate the approaching Year of the Tiger 2022.
With a new year theme, OPPO Reno7 New Year Edition also has a unique boxing, using the dominant red color tone with the tiger symbol.
The included accessories are the same as the standard version, including a fast charger, a USB-C charging cable, a case, a user manual and a sim stick.
OPPO Reno7 New Year Edition has the same appearance as the standard version, but the entire back, bezel as well as the camera cluster are designed with a distinctive red color, looking like a red envelope.
The lenses have a prominent yellow surround. This version will not have LED surrounds like the Pro version. Camera specifications are similar to the standard version, including 64MP wide-angle camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro camera
Below is the familiar “OPPO” logo and the tiger symbol, symbolizing the upcoming year of the Tiger 2022.
The bottom edge of OPPO Reno7 is the charging port, voice mic, speakerphone and sim slot. The device has a square frame design like an iPhone
The right edge is where the power button is located with a stylized blue accent
The device has a 6.43-inch screen on the front, using a 90Hz AMOLED panel with a “mole” design, where the 32MP selfie camera (Sony IMX709) is located.
OPPO Reno7 New Year Edition runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 12″ interface
The hardware configuration of the special edition remains unchanged, still includes Snapdragon 778G chip, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage memory. The battery has a capacity of 4500mAh, supports 60W fast charging
This is not the first time OPPO has launched a special edition to celebrate the new year. Previously, the OPPO R17 also received a special customization with a similar New Year theme to celebrate the year of the Pig 2019.
Regarding the price, OPPO Reno7 New Year version will be on sale in the Chinese market from today (December 27) with the price of 2699 yuan unchanged, equivalent to 9.5 million.
