How does the camera on OPPO Reno6 challenge even the toughest conditions? – LLODO

OPPO has always had a reputation for taking very “virtual” portrait or selfie photos, pressing the shutter is “beautiful auto” without much editing. With the recently launched Reno6 series, the company remains true to this spirit with the ability to take portraits, portraits with very good fonts, even in low light or backlit conditions.

Despite being a mid-range and high-end device, the camera experience of OPPO Reno6 series is very impressive.

That said, if you don’t believe it, check out the set of photos below, all of which were taken with the Reno6 5G and Reno 6Z 5G.

Taken in the midday sun, strong light

The first few pictures I took at noon, the sun shone almost vertically from the top of my head next to the window. Light only comes from outside, bounces into the room. But the machine handles quite well at HDR, keeping the face bright enough but the background is not burnt, clearly see the color of the foliage and a bit of the sky. Whether shooting in normal mode or portrait mode to remove fonts, the colors are still the same, no difference.

A normal photo shows you how harsh the light is.

Switch to portrait mode to remove the font, the colors are still so bright, the background separation is very good, the bokeh is “virtual” but still very real.

Particularly, the Bokeh Flair font removal mode produces a “virtual” image quality because a bright color filter layer is applied, after taking a photo, you can use the image immediately without editing, which is quite cool.

OPPO Reno6 series has many color filters for portrait mode that are worth a try.

Taken in the afternoon, against the sun

The ability to handle HDR and balance brightness when shooting portraits of OPPO Reno6 series is even more evident when taking photos with full backlight. I took the photos below at around 5 pm, the sun was right behind the model, but the camera still automatically compensates for the face. The sky now doesn’t keep the details anymore, but it creates a pretty good effect, highlighting the model, not trying to balance the light and ruin the photo like many other phones.

Reno6 prioritizes light balance for the face, so it keeps the beautiful, smooth skin color, the ability to remove the background and the good bokeh quality.

Taken when it’s dark, the light from the lamp

It’s completely dark, the lights are on a lot, I don’t say but when it is still dark, there is still a bit of sunlight left to be really “difficult” with all kinds of cameras.

Only the yellow electric lights illuminate, but the colors are still very “okela”, the background is processed just beautiful enough, looking very real.

At this time, I chose a position right under a yellowish electric light, behind a colorful sunset at 5:30 pm. OPPO Reno6 continues to impress me because it produces photos with very natural colors, not pushed up too much or pale and lifeless. The ability to remove the background and bokeh quality is also very stable, looking “virtual” but also very “real”.

Another photo taken indoors, low light and 1.5x zoom. The detail is slightly reduced, but the colors and brightness are handled to the eyes and easy to see.

Conclude

How does the camera on OPPO Reno6 challenge even the toughest conditions? - Photo 8.

The camera of OPPO Reno6 series remains the same as it has been for many years, improving in the right place at the right time to take good photos in all light conditions.

Before, I did not appreciate the ability to capture fonts on the phone very much because I was used to using a camera with a professional lens. But after a few days of taking a test shot with OPPO Reno6, I was completely impressed, from the ability to remove the background, the bokeh effect to the color handling was beyond expectations, the feeling was equally good, even the more than a few thousand dollar super phone models today.
