Samsung integrates Nvidia GeForce Now and Google Stadia into smart TVs 2022 – LLODO

If you want to play blockbuster games, you usually go to a console or PC, but Samsung’s new feature makes it possible to enjoy the game with just your smart TV.

Samsung has confirmed that some of its 2022 TV models will integrate Nvidia’s GeForce Now, Google Stadia, and cloud gaming service Utomik as part of the new “Samsung Gaming Hub”.

Gaming Hub is more than just a gateway for gaming through the cloud, the company says that game consoles connected via HDMI will sync the controller with the Gaming Hub, meaning you can play games in the cloud and on consoles with the same controller, instead of having to use different ones. Samsung will support both PlayStation and Xbox controllers.

If you have an older Samsung smart TV, it’s not clear if you can use these features. Samsung’s game product manager Mike Lucero said: “We are starting with 2022 models and are working to make the Gaming Hub available to even more customers.”

In addition, the picture and sound quality when playing cloud games is still a question mark. Samsung has not said how its new TVs will be optimized for this feature. Lucero says: “We are working with our partners to deliver the best level of service. We’ll announce more details as the product launches.”
