According to leaked sources, there will be a new Mac model introduced by Apple at tonight’s Peek performance event. Although not much information is available, recently, YouTuber Luke Miani has shared the first render images of the Mac Studio, the Mac that is expected to appear at this spring event.
Accordingly, Mac Studio will be a “hybrid” device between Mac Pro but with a compact design similar to Mac mini. From the image above we can see that the Mac Studio will be significantly thicker than the Mac mini M1, but will still keep the neatness without being too rough and thick like the Mac Pro line.
According to MacRumors, Mac Studio will likely be an alternative to Apple’s high-end Mac mini line. This machine will have a powerful hardware with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, or even an Apple Silicon chip that is more powerful than the M1 Max.
Besides Mac Studio, Apple will also introduce a monitor called Studio Display. This will be a screen version aimed at general users, cheaper than the Pro Display XDR, which costs $ 5000 and is only for professional users. According to leaked information, Studio Display will have a 27-inch size, a design similar to the Pro Display XDR but with thicker borders. In addition, leaker Mark Gurman also revealed that Studio Display will be equipped with Apple A-series chip and run iOS operating system.
