The Galaxy Z Fold series represents the pinnacle of Samsung’s mobile technology. Galaxy Z Fold3 is a folding screen smartphone carrying the most advanced technologies at launch, it even has a camera hidden under the screen, but the rear camera cluster has always been considered unworthy of the Z Fold3.
Thankfully, Samsung will likely remedy this weakness with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold4 later this year.
According to the GalaxyClub page, Samsung will equip the Z Fold4 with a camera configuration on par with the flagships in 2022, meaning a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom like the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
In addition to the new telephoto camera, the Galaxy Z Fold4 will also have a 10MP selfie camera. However, it is still unclear whether this 10MP selfie camera will be the same as the one on the Galaxy S22 and S22+.
So far, Samsung has not revealed anything about the Galaxy Z Fold4, but it is likely that the company will launch the device around August-September.
Previous rumors said the Galaxy Z Fold4 would be Samsung’s first folding device with a built-in S Pen slot and an improved Super UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) display.
