After the launch of the Galaxy S22 and certainly no new Note series, Samsung’s next most interesting product line will of course be folding screen devices. Samsung currently has two folding screen smartphone lines, Z Fold and Z Flip, however, according to information from the Galaxy Club site, Samsung is working on another folding screen device launched this year, a new product line. There will be limited quantities.
According to information obtained by Galaxy Club, Samsung is developing 3 folding screen devices with code names including B4, Q4 and N4. In which the first two codenames are Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4, because before that, the predecessors used to have code names B3 and Q3. Finally, the N4, a completely new folding device.
Galaxy Club speculates that the N4 could be Samsung’s first roll-out phone or a version of the Galaxy Fold with three screens. Samsung also introduced a number of new display technologies at CES 2022, including “S” and “G” folding screens and the Flex Note folding laptop concept. The N4 could be one of these devices, but it could also have a completely different design.
Currently, there is no news about when Samsung will launch the new generation of folding screen smartphones, but it is likely to be in August because that is when it launched the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3.
