GSC GameWorld officially announced the delay of the long-awaited game’s launch date for many years. STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl will not be released until December 8 this year. Originally scheduled to be released on April 28, 2022, it seems that the STALKER 2 developer needs more time to test and refine the product that is expected by tens of thousands of gamers.
GSC GameWorld wishes to bring fans a memorable journey with a non-linear storyline. The player’s decisions will affect the ending of the trip (just like the previous STALKER parts). Gamers will once again play the role of Stalkers, “treasure hunters” in a forbidden area called Special Zone – The Zone.
The developer also applies motion capture (mocap) technology to both the body and face of the NPC, allowing the virtual world of STALKER to be as realistic as possible.
